Lazy update across 28 plugins, including snacks.nvim, gitsigns, conform, mason, nvim-lspconfig, nvim-dap and image.nvim. Startup is clean, lua_ls and ts_ls attach, and the treesitter health check passes after rebuilding the parsers.
Phase 1 deleted the old README, which listed Telescope, nvim-cmp and other removed plugins. The new one covers install, layout, the current plugin stack, theme sync and the main keymaps.
Four plugin specs still listed telescope (or telescope-dap) as a
dependency, causing :Lazy sync to silently re-install telescope
after Phase 3. Drop the explicit telescope dep from venv-selector
(v2 has its own picker UI) and from dap (telescope-dap was unused).
Delete cheatsheet.nvim and gitignore.nvim entirely — both are
pure-telescope frontends with no fallback, and removing telescope
broke them.
Swap the completion engine to blink.cmp v1.x, dropping nvim-cmp,
its eight cmp-* sources, lspkind, and LuaSnip. Swap the picker
to snacks.picker, removing telescope.nvim and six telescope
extensions. LSP capabilities now sourced from blink.cmp; LSP
navigation keymaps and the colorscheme/keymaps/todo pickers move
to Snacks.picker. friendly-snippets is preserved as blink's
snippet source.
Enable snacks.input and snacks.notifier modules; remove the
now-redundant nvim-notify and archived dressing.nvim specs.
Notifier preserves the prior icons and 3000 ms timeout.
Fix keymap collision on <leader>j/<leader>k (now resize-only;
location-list moved to ]l/[l). Migrate diagnostic signs from
deprecated vim.fn.sign_define to vim.diagnostic.config. Drop
orphan after/nvim-tree.lua and the bogus require("../current-theme").
Add foundation snacks.nvim spec. Remove playground, vim-maximizer,
poet-v, git-blame, render-markdown, and all five AI plugin specs.
Enable gitsigns current_line_blame.
Three-phase, single-branch plan derived from the modernization
